What I do a brief outline
I am currently employed as a Graphic Designer for Johnston Press and the Northern Advertising Agency. My position covers a wide spectrum of design areas which I am able to take from concept through to print, including: corporate identity, advertising, point of sale, mailers and flyers, packaging, illustration, type design, web design and multi page publications (ranging from A5 brochures to magazines and large catalogues).
I work in a uniquely fast paced environment which has honed my time management skills as well as my ability to meet strict deadlines and complete tasks under pressure. I work closely with a wide range of people from different departments within the newspaper industry, an extensive list of external clients and various in-house and external printers.
My other interests include Illustration, Art, Photography and Typography, a few examples of which are on this site and are often incorporated into my commercial work.
